Project 365

What is Project 365 you ask? It’s only one of the most challenging photography projects out there. The objective is to take 1 photograph a day for 365 days straight. Although that may sound easy, trust me it is harder than you can possible imagine. At least my approach will be anyways…I want to use this opportunity to challenge myself not only photographically, but mentally as well. To think of new concepts and ideas everyday is going to be a challenge, but to upload and post EVERY SINGLE day that is the tough part. Needless to say I have my work cut out for me.

I will now have 3 blogs to update, a Flickr page,  1 Facebook and 2 fan pages, Twitter and my website, plus I have to take pictures daily for work. Not complaining, just sayin….

14 days till the big day

Yup that’s right people 14 days till Heather and I get married, are you excited? I know I am…

Ashley – Lifestyle Shoot

Several weeks ago I was asked by my fellow photography friend Ashley Turner to take some pictures of her for her website and blog. Of course I obliged, after a couple of different reschedules we finally got around to getting those shots on Monday. One cool thing about Ashley other than the fact that she is a great photographer, is she also does hair and makeup on the side. Since Ashley and my fiance Heather are friends and co-workers they agreed that Ashley would do Heather’s makeup for our reception when we get back from Hawaii. So we decided to make a Monday-Fun Day out of it, Ashley would do a trial run with Heather’s hair and makeup and then she would take some pictures of us for fun, then after I would take her website and blog pictures and Heather would 2nd shoot. It was pretty fun I will have to admit, well not the makeup part but the taking the pictures part. Anyways….after everything was said and done, Heather was stoked about her hair and makeup and in my opinion I think I was able to get some rad shots of Ashley. Just to let you know she was looking for earthy with that kind of vintage feel for her site.

20 day countdown

OMG 20 days till the big day!!! 15 days till we leave for Hawaii…That is so crazy, I can’t believe it is right around the corner!

Randomly cool Tuesday

Today was just simply a cool day, started off with some great ideas regarding my work/art. I’M INSPIRED again and love it! Then it was off to meet some of my photography peeps in Anaheim to do a cool shoot with some trains. What a perfect location and beautiful day to be out shooting, I couldn’t have been in a better spot today. Shots go out to Michelle, Jason, Carol and our awesome model for the day Kristi, thanks for a kick ass day. Then it was back home to meet up with my girl to have some lunch together, BTW day 2 of our diet is going as planned, but it’s tough when you are told what to eat. Anyways that’s a totally different post. After finishing up some more work, I decided to go for a bike ride. OK what a great decision, it was sooo perfect out there, I couldn’t help but absorb the awesomeness of my surroundings, so blessed. Ok that’s all I got….Peace!

Here are a few pics from today. These images are straight out of the camera (SOOC) no edits have been made.
