Lisa & Jia :: Now Married

What I really love about being a wedding photographer is being able to capture the pure moments, the fun my couples have on their wedding day and of course the LOVE that’s in the air throughout the day. It’s infectious, and I can’t help but to look forward to my wedding day with Heather. Seeing the love between Lisa and Jia on their wedding was awesome! Thank you again for allowing me to be part of your wedding day.

The wedding took place at the Arboretum at the Crystal Cathedral in Garden Grove. Again I was fortunate that they decided to see each other prior to the ceremony, what a huge difference I tell ya. The surroundings were filled with endless photo opportunities and of course we had to take advantage of it. I was so worried because the forecast called for rain that Saturday, again prayers were answered. No rain, but a little wind (for a few hours anyways). We had about an hour before the ceremony which gave me plenty of opportunity to get some really good shots in. There is one shot I was able to catch of Lisa sneaking in for a kiss on the cheek, loved it. I do have to say, Lisa you looked very beautiful that day with the dress to match, Jia your a lucky man, my friend! I wish you both the VERY BEST in life! Although it’s weird to say, but one of the highlights for me was after the ceremony and after a few last minute shots, it then started to drizzle. We were so lucky…

Elena & Ryan :: Now Married

Congratulations once again to Elena and Ryan on their marriage last week. How much was fun was that? I know I had a blast and I was just taking the pictures ;-) A special thank you goes out to you both for allowing me to take pictures before the ceremony, what a huge difference that made as you will see in the pictures. I loved it because we weren’t totally rushed and it gave me the freedom to take a variety of different poses. From now on I will be highly recommending this to all my couples that get married in the fall and spring. Anyway…Thank you! Please take a look at my beautiful clients, they were so fun and they made my job so easy. I wish you both the VERY BEST in your future together! Lastly, the location we are shooting at is front of my friend’s restaurant Water’s Lakehouse in Irvine, if you haven’t eaten there I highly recommend it, the food and the atmosphere is second to none!

Karen & Marty :: Wedding

The first time I spoke with Karen over the phone it was the week I was off to Hawaii. I was so excited because I was going to ask Heather to marry me and I think it radiated over the phone because Karen and I just had an instant connection. She began to tell me how her and Marty got engaged right on the beach in Australia. She said, you have to ask her while on the beach because she will remember it forever and sure enough I took her advice and it was the best decision ever, thanks again Karen!!! So yes, I had the honor of being their photographer and I have to say, I was so thrilled! When I initially met up with Karen she began to tell me their story of how her and Marty met, and how he lived in Austraila. A couple of the things I love about what I do is learning about my clients, hearing their stories and being able to connect with them. Karen lived here in Long Beach and Marty lived in Perth, Australia when they first met over 2 years ago. Need I say more??? You two are simply meant to be and so awesome together, thank you again! Have fun on your honeymoon! I hope you enjoy these before you take off.

Bridal Shoot in Temecula

The day I saw this Bridal shoot open up on FB I had to join. I want to Thank Tracy Dee for putting on this great shoot for us photographers. The location and setting was perfect, total vintage. I had such a great time and look forward to the next group photography get together.

I am so stoked that I was able to attend for several reasons:
1) I got to learn how to be a better photographer
2) I got to meet some really cool photographers, models, makeup artist and other vendors
3) I was able to reunite with a classmate from high school, make up artist Kimberly Bragalone, she did all make up on the Bride Amanda and Bridesmaid Amanda (blue dress). She does rad work, make sure you check her site out.
4) I was able to share some of my knowledge to others
5) I met some other Filipino photographers, YES! I look forward to shooting with them again!
