Another week is here and so far I’m off to a great start! It started off early this morning when I had a great conversation with someone that is going to help me take my business to the next level. After speaking to a couple of people prior, today I finally found Pam. She will be a great asset to TFP and so look forward to some great things in the very near future. If you are reading this Pam, Thank you!

After our meeting I went home, checked my email and come to find out that today is the last day of the ProPhoto Expo in Pasadena. I looked at my watch and debated driving all the way up there, after about 2 seconds I made the decision to hike up to Pasadena the City of Roses. Stoked that I did, I ended up meeting a potential new vendor for my canvas prints. Besides their beautiful prints what I love is that they are local and based in Orange County. Sweet NO Shipping fees and faster service. I look forward to visiting them later this week. Other than meeting that vendor I got to hold the new Canon 1D Mark 4, that was a mistake now I want it! LOL Will my desire to want the latest and greatest ever stop? NOPE don’t think so….

I have one more meeting later today and I can’t wait! These friends are great people and I enjoy just hanging out and sharing ideas. GO TT!

So as we enter the month of February I have been getting more focused on the year. Ideas are popping in my head left and right and I just can’t contain them anymore. From personal life to business to helping people to getting back in shape it’s absolutely crazy, crazy good that is. One aspect of my life I rarely talk about these days is Triathlons and training for them. For those that don’t know I have been seriously racing in Triathlons for the past 4 years. I have raced in over 20+ races with 3 Half Ironman’s under my belt. I have put racing on hold for way too long and I can say it has been hard getting back in shape, but I know it’s going to be so worth it. One thing I really miss about training is the alone time, the time you have by yourself to think about life, strategies, my wedding it’s so therapeutic and that is what I miss…Not to mention loosing the weight at the same time. I’m so ready! So I have sworn to now start blogging about getting back in shape and now I will be accountable here on my blog. Hmm….

So as I was running today I had all these thoughts running though my mind and all of sudden I looked up at this sign as I was running by it and thought, PERFECT! So I turned around a took my mobile Monday shot. The sign said, “No Stopping Any Time” and so that has to be my attitude.

Oh BTW, I am sad to report the Photo Shoot for Haiti did not go so well. I think it was because of the short notice, but ya live and learn. Here’s to next time!

Here is a sneak peek of the seemless backround and a couple of the softboxes at the studio. I took this today while I stopped by to gather some ideas for the video I am going to shoot either tomorrow or Wed. I can’t wait to announce a cool event on Sunday. On another note, I am still so sad about that dang Viking game yesterday, it really broke my heart watching them loose that game. The offense dominated the whole game until they fumbled about 20 times and not to mention Brett’s interceptions. That would have been so rad if my Brother-in-Law got to go to the Superbowl. Maybe next year?

11:30pm and I’m just getting my Mobile Mondays post out. Since it was a rainy day here in Southern Cal I almost forgot to take snap shot, but being that I just finished reading my first business book of the year, I thought I would take a shot of it. My goal is to read at least one business book a month. So what better way to start off the year then with a branding book, if you are just starting a business I highly recommend reading this, it’s called ZAG by Marty Neumeier. It’s a very easy read, but more importantly it’s packed full of some really useful information. Check it out! Not the best shot with the HTC Hero

Mobile Mondays :: 1-11

Ok I’m back on track! Since the New Year I have been in this funk and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out why. But after tons of praying and taking time out to reflect on what was going on I finally figured it out. Numero uno, I’m getting married this year in Hawaii, then on top of that I have opened up my own studio in only my second year of business which in turn has put some ridiculous amounts of pressure on myself, I am also having a burning desire to get back in triathlon shape (which depending on what level I want to get back to takes time and money) add all of this up and yup you guessed it I was just overwhelmed with stress. Duh I should have known, but I was so caught up that I didn’t realize that was causing it. So while at church yesterday it really hit me it was so weird, 3/4 of the way through the mass all of sudden I felt this calm inside me something that I have never felt before and at that very moment I just knew everything is going to work out. It was like God’s way of telling me that it will be ok. THANK YOU Lord!

So today is a new day and I am ready to take on the world! Starting with my Mobile Monday series then off the Studio to get some work done. I’m so excited and charged up. Stay tuned I will be blogging about my studio very soon!
