For all those SoCal photographers who are not aware of our local photography groups I highly recommend taking a few minutes to track them down. During this off season these groups have helped me tremendously, not only giving me an opportunity to take part in some really cool shoots, but more importantly they have given me an opportunity to meet some other really cool photographers. A good place to start to looking is on Facebook, for those local to Southern Cal you have several groups to take part in, SoCal Photog Shootout, LA Shoot This and Photo Sharp Shooters are just a few. So make sure you check em out, such a great learning experience.
