When I decided that I was going to try to tackle the HS Senior market the first school that came to mind of course was my former high school Esperanza. I thought for sure this was going to be a piece of cake, nope, I was way wrong. I didn’t realize that my type of photography was very uncommon and that most Seniors just went with the standard boring pictures. After doing a little homework I came to find out that the parents are not given other options when it comes to having more memorable, fun and expressive pictures taken of their kids. I was floored when I heard what those “other” companies are charging. To me that is just wrong, especially for pictures that don’t even express who their kids are? So now I have made it my mission to change the mindset of how parents and seniors go about getting better pictures. I know I have a small window this year, but I am going to do what I can.
With that said let me introduce my first Aztec, his is name is TJ. Along with being a good looking kid he is also a part of the men’s varsity soccer team. I want to give him props for being a good sport and hanging in there, I know for guys getting your picture taken is not the most desirable thing to do, but I will say TJ did a great job and was cool to work with. It was great having his mom around, I think he was more relaxed having her around as well, thanks Deana! Also I want to thank my fiancé Heather for being a great artistic director on this shoot! Anyways enough talk here are some pictures from Saturday.
