Yesterday was one of the happiest days I’ve had in a long time. Ever since Canon introduced their new 5D Mark II back in Dec or Jan I have been in want mode. Well want no more, yesterday I received my VERY own 5D Mark Deuce! All I can say is STOKED! The look and feel is very similar to my 50D, but tell ya what the images, the full frame sensor, the HD video capabilities make this camera leaps and bounds better than my 50D. I used it for a commercial photo shoot today and was just stunned on what great images came out even in the low light conditions. I can’t wait till I get to photograph people…
Next reason for my happiness, yesterday I met up with Shaun Austin part owner of the new wedding album company I will be exclusively using for all my albums. Shaun was so awesome, as a fellow wedding photographer he was kind enough to talk to me for over an hour sharing tips on how to run a successful business. I left there in pure bliss with the largest smile on my face. I immediately called Heather and was like a little kid I was so excited that I could even complete a sentence, it went a little like this, and then and then and then…it was pretty funny. But really what was more important is the fact that I left there knowing that I am going to invest and put my trust into a great album company. My samples are on the way…
