So last night while I was at the Galaxy shooting Marc Cohen it dawned on me why I was excited for the weekend. I was excited because I knew I was going to be able to shoot all weekend long from the concert yesterday, to my cousin’s party tonight and then the Long Beach Bayou Festival on Sunday. I absolutely LOVE shooting concerts for several reasons 1) A major challenge with lighting and exposure 2) I get to be in the front row for most concerts 3) I just love live music 4) I get in free (thanks Live OC). So having said that it only confirms once again I found my place in life and that is behind the camera shooting.
After the concert I met up with Heather over at her work, since we rarely hang out at night I thought it would be great time to get some desert after she closed up, but since it was so late our only option was basically Denny’s. While we were there I broke it down for her why I was so excited to for the weekend. I thought I had some ground breaking news and she just laughed at me, she gave me that look like she already knew that. I guess she really knows me…But anyways I did enjoy our time together, it was nice to just sit and talk without any other distractions.
Ok while I’m here I want to mention something Greg told me the other day regarding his niece Kaitlin. After he told me this I just knew everything was going to be ok, it truly made my week. He told me that Kaitlin has included me in her prayers at night along with her other uncles (I think I am now an adopted uncle). She prays that we find a good wife. How cool is that? After I heard that I was stoked. She is giving Bella a run for her money for being my number one niece! Kaitlin THANK YOU for being you! You rock and I can’t wait to talk to you again. Remember to keep being the best you can be and always give your mom, dad, grandma and grandpa a big huge and kiss!
