Charity Events

Tonight happened to be the night of Charity’s. I started off the night with an assignment from Live OC, it was to take pictures of charity event in Shady Canyon. The event was held at a private residence, it was catered with food and beverages and to top it off several casino tables, Craps, BJ, Roulette and a Poker table. The only problem with the event is that it was said to have around 80-100 people show up, turned out to be about 40 maybe 50 tops. So needless to say I made my assignment there short and sweet. The Charity was for a non-profit called Laura’s House it was formed to put an end to domestic violence.

My other Charity event of the night was for a friend on the Tri team’s cousin who has been diagnosed with Cancer. Her event was to help raise money for her Medical bills since she has been going in and out of the hospital for a few years now and those bills are adding up. This benefit was for Renee Benson, please take a second to go to her blog, she really explains her situation in great detail www.reneebensonbelieve.com. After I read it, I thought to myself what can I do to help this person in need, so I actually donated my services to the cause, by offering a Free Photo Session and (10) prints. The winner basically got their ticket pulled out of a can, unfortunately I did not stay to the end to see who won it. Below is a picture of her foundation I believe her and her family started, it’s called the FC Foundation. I normally would not allow this image on my blog because of the language, but this is for a good cause and if helps bring awareness and money to help her than I am all for it.
