I was talking to Greg one of my best friends on Friday and he asked me what was on the agenda for the weekend. I told him on Sat. I will be shooting my first newborn baby session, in fact it was going to be two babies since they had twin baby girls. We kind of laughed about it because in the past month and half I have had sooo many firsts in my business. In no specific order, I had my first model, couple, engagement, concert, event, red carpet event, senior and now baby shoot. Talk about jumping right into it, all those sessions took place within the past month and half, how awesome was that? I could not as for a better opportunity as far getting experience. To be honest, even though some of those were hard since I had no idea what I was doing I LOVED every moment, I am so very thankful and truly appreciate all the great feedback I have been getting and all the people have met in such a short period of time, it’s been so surreal.
In fact Friday night I shot the red carpet at Lido Theater for the opening of an independent film “My Suicide” staring Brooke Nevin and Gabriel Sunday. What a cool experience seeing these young actors meeting up again, it seemed like most of them haven’t seen each other since the movie so it was a nice little reunion. But prior to everyone getting there I took a picture of this beautiful young lady, I gave her my card and she later sent me a very nice compliment on my work. That comment put the biggest smile on my face, it’s so good to know that I continue to head down the right path, comments like that make me just want to strive to give more of myself and to my clients. Thank you Tomekia! Oh and since they have not posted the pictures on Live OC’s website yet I hope you don’t mind but I posted it here.
