Anniversary Surprise

While we were in Kauai for our wedding there just happened to be 3 different wedding anniversaries going on that week. My sister celebrated their 7th, George’s (my brother in law) brother Frank and Hailey celebrated their 13th and George’s friends Tom and Julie Bonds celebrated their 20th anniversary. I got the word earlier in the week from George that he was putting together this dinner celebration for my sister on the DL (down low). Well just so happened with all the madness going on before our wedding we actually had that night available, so of course we joined them. Boy was my sister SO surprised, it was good to see her so happy to see all of us. LET ME tell ya, it was so awesome to be there to celebrate my sister’s wedding anniversary along with the others that was just so cool. It showed Heather and I that there is hope and that marriages do last, regardless of what all the statistics say. What a great night, the food at the Beach House Restaurant was the BOMB (thanks Tom & Julie) and the company we were with was simply the best! What an awesome night!

Married at last

It’s official Heather and I are now married, as of Thursday the 15th in Koloa, Kauai. I will be doing a follow up post shortly, so for now check out this picture I took the next day, does it look familiar? (see the post below)

One more week

We are officially on the countdown, one week from today Heather and I will be married! I can’t even begin to explain how excited I am. Keep an eye out on the blog I will be posting pictures throughout the week.

This is the spot where we got engaged, the picture was taken by a random lady that walked by like 5mins after I asked her to marry me.

Project 365

What is Project 365 you ask? It’s only one of the most challenging photography projects out there. The objective is to take 1 photograph a day for 365 days straight. Although that may sound easy, trust me it is harder than you can possible imagine. At least my approach will be anyways…I want to use this opportunity to challenge myself not only photographically, but mentally as well. To think of new concepts and ideas everyday is going to be a challenge, but to upload and post EVERY SINGLE day that is the tough part. Needless to say I have my work cut out for me.

I will now have 3 blogs to update, a Flickr page,  1 Facebook and 2 fan pages, Twitter and my website, plus I have to take pictures daily for work. Not complaining, just sayin….

You can follow my Project 365 @ 365 by Thomas or Flickr

I would greatly appreciate your support, comments and overall interest in helping me through this next year. THANK YOU!

Thomas
